I’m not sure who was more excited for this, me or the kids. Tonight we went along to Sheffield Arena to see Disney on Ice’s “Passport to Adventure”.
Ivy and I have been a number of times to see Disney on Ice shows and we were super excited to see another one! We managed to get hold of 5 tickets and we thought long and hard about who to share them with. Ivy amazed me when she chose a little boy from her class who “wouldn’t get to go if he didn’t go with us” (😍😍😍😍) I was really touched by this – girl after my own heart!
The “Passport to Adventure” show sees some of everyone’s favourite Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald, Goofy etc on a journey through the worlds of films such as The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan and finally Frozen!!!
There’s something quite magical about Disney. No matter what mood I’m in it always manages to make me smile and remember what life is all about! I also enjoy a good Disney sing-a-long which there was a lot of this evening!
The tickets are priced from £51.52 (Ringside) down to £20.16 further out. Plus there is an additional fee for parking which was a bit steep at £10 but it did mean that we could get in and out very quickly, which after a long day working was totally worth it for me! The whole show was magical, filled with great music and it’s great for the whole family!
The excitement on their faces throughout was lovely, especially for the little ones who had never been before. Unlucky for me, Ivy always seems to remember that we get a slushy when we go, they are crazily expensive at £9 each, so unless you feel like treating I’d give the refreshments a wide berth…
I have been posting a lot about creating memories, I can remember been taken here as a child and it’s so special to be able to take my own children now.
If you get the chance, give it a go. The kids (and I) LOVED it 😊
